Apparition
Where the Ruins Breathe
Phantom Architecture
This work moves between architecture and apparition. In its vertical form, it rises like a ghost from ruins: drips, grids, and skeletal marks anchoring memory, while pale gestures ascend as if unraveling into air. Turned, the same forms become a procession, drifting across a liminal landscape — part migration, part dissolution.
The painting resists singular meaning. It is both rooted and dissolving, structured and spectral. By shifting orientation, the image reveals its paradox: what rises can also fall, what anchors can also release. It becomes not one picture, but a constellation of possibilities — a mirror of how perception shapes truth.
