Convergence Field
2025
Acrylic, oil pastel on canvas
Available
Two forms drift toward one another with gravitational pull, each rising from its own field of grey. Where they approach, the background shifts — the moment of contact altering the terrain itself.
The painting lingers in this threshold: part merging, part separating, part remembering a shape they once shared. Energy gathers at the centre — flickers of white and ember-like warmth — suggesting a form assembling itself or breaking open into two.
“Convergence Field” is a portrait of attempted union and quiet divergence held in the same breath — a space where separation strains toward connection, and connection strains toward separation.
